Position Summary:
The role is responsible for designing, developing, and managing engaging e-learning content using Articulate 360, in collaboration with Learning & Culture teams and subject matter experts. This includes creating interactive training modules, multimedia content, and supporting documentation aligned with learning objectives. The position involves project management of asynchronous course development, integration into the organization’s LMS, and serving as LMS Sub Administrator to manage course setup, reporting, and troubleshooting. The designer will also support ongoing content revisions, collaborate with HR and non-HR stakeholders, and ensure all training materials meet quality and accessibility standards across computer and mobile platforms.

The designer will also support ongoing content revisions, collaborate with HR and non-HR stakeholders, and ensure all training materials meet quality and accessibility standards across computer and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Learning & Culture and SMEs to understand learning goals and translate them into effective learning experiences.
- Uses Artivulate 360 to build and publish online courses and modules.
- Develops learning materials, including text, images, videos, animations, and interactive elements, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and aligned with learning objectives.
- Reviews and tests e-learning materials to ensure they are accurate, engaging, and meet quality standard
- Familiar with LMS platforms Essential
- Project-manage, design, and deploy asynchronous training courses into the organization’s LMS in concert with lab stakeholders, taking into account existing lab needs.
- Serve as the LMS Sub Administrator to set up curricula/courses, design/run reports, troubleshoot issues, and develop the LMS to meet the needs of HR stakeholders.
- Work with the Office Stewardship and Organization Effectiveness team on Stewardship Value integrations in preliminary asynchronous training courses design.
- Apply advanced knowledge of eLearning production, including image handling, video production, publishing and design, presentation preparation, and animation techniques to develop highly engaging and interactive eLearning courses for computer and mobile platforms.
- Manage eLearning and classroom course development projects through all phases.
- Monitor, amend and revise training content and materials as necessary in coordination with subject matter experts.
- Apply knowledge of instructional design workflow and content management in producing course packages that include instructional design documents, syllabus, course development support documents and supporting content in accordance with learning needs managed through HR. Marginal
- Partner with non-HR training staff.
- Technical experience with Learning Management Systems and their integration with HR systems
- Demonstrated experience with adult learning and curriculum design.
- Experience with various eLearning production, image handling, video production, publishing and design, presentation preparation, and animation tools for the development of interactive eLearning, classroom and print-based training materials.
- Experience with voice-over work.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and applied problem-solving skills to research and analyze complex information and/or problems in an objective manner.

- Ability to interact effectively and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience exercising independent judgment to handle sensitive, difficult or confidential matters with discretion and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated competency in various computer programs including with Microsoft Office Suite: MS Word and PowerPoint; Google collaboration tools.
- Experience working for the University or US Government entities.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline.
