POSITION SUMMARY
This is a 1-year contract position

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Program Manager, this full-time temporary position provides support to the QA department through data entry of prior years’ backlogged item/service and supplier purchase requisition (PR) data into the Approved Supplier List (ASL) Smartsheet to obtain a complete listing of quality assurance reviews so that end users can appropriately plan procurements, and accurate performance data is captured for metrics and analytics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are the duties/areas of responsibly that are essential to performing the job. Non-critical responsibilities that take less than 5% of work time are excluded.

Enter Backlogged Data:

  • Input backlogged item, service, and supplier purchase requisition (PR) data into the ASL Smartsheet system.
  • Ensure accurate data entry by validating that all information is correct.

Data Validation:

  • Review and cross-check entered data for accuracy.
  • Make necessary corrections to data to ensure it aligns with procurement plans.

Procurement Planning and Analysis:

  • Use accurate data for planning procurement activities.
  • Utilize corrected data for generating metrics and performing analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-8 years of data entry experience with complex and/or sizable amounts of data.
  • Proficient in Smartsheet
  • Demonstrated data entry proficiency with a high degree of accuracy and productivity, with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to follow instructions precisely, with nominal rework.
  • The ability to think critically to analyze complex information and make appropriate edits to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • The ability to perform work with minimal oversight.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in a Government Contractor, R&D environment.
